So I'm having some fitment issues with my TD05...
Long story short, I've replaced my manifold with a new one, which moves the turbo.. Its becoming a right pain in the ass!
My TD05's air intake bit comes off the front at a right angle, instead of straight onto the front. Now this air intake bit faces the 'support' that comes from the suspension tower.
My question is whether i would be able to chop the first inch of this off (closest to the engine bay) so i have space to fit a silicone hose so i can attach my airfilter without the shock tower collapsing?
If not, I'm at the verge of just setting the bloody thing on fire!

I'd say so. I'd probably re-enforce what's left.

Awesome! It doesn't look or feel really strong enough to provide any real structural support. I'm not planning on chopping all of it anyway.
