I'm sorely tempted, but will be my first foray into any of this show/track stuff?
Whats the deal? Pay you money, rock up and talk prarrie canoe about cars all day? Obviously have to pay for track time - is that just book into a session (obviously novice for myself, as I've never even been to a track in my life) and blat the car around whilst trying to to hit anyone else??

Details in the first post of the thread. PayPal me £15 and I'll book you a spot on the stand. We meet up at in the morning and I dish out the passes and then drive in together. I've got a big tent we put up and the.ln spend the day chatting cars, walking round the displays and traders and watching the track action. No need to go on track if you don't want to.

Be a first for me as well, good to know I might not be the only one!! Do it. You won't regret it. I remember the first show I did. I'd been to a bunch of meets before, but never been on stand at a show. I thought "who'd want to look at a bog standard Mk3", but was surprised at how much people were prepared to chat etc. Coombe is a good show to start with. The atmosphere is great, and it's much easier to spectate the track sessions than Silverstone. |
