My original door cards have rotted as good old previous owners removed the plastic film from the door. Thinking of using foamex to cut out new cards and recover.
old hard board card is approx 3mm thick, do you chaps think 3mm foamex will be stiff enough for the job??

Think there's a group buy on "the other forum" that looks like a good deal on laser cut door cards that I think are foamex. Have a look on there.

Cheers for the heads up - have put my name down now, will give him a few weeks for dates, and if it drags on too long I will make my own. Ta!

Door cards sorted, but still need to replace plastic cover. Does anyone know what that sticky black goop that never fully dries out is?? (as per from the factory)

Looks like IDL99 non drying sealant is what I need - not sure if it stays sticky though?!
EDIT - after some googling, looks like its a butyl mastic - can be bought in tape form by the looks of it..
