Can you watch if so and I'm not at work I may come along see how you all do. My main worry on doing this is not knowing where to go next, I just think I'd get lost going round lol I think you can watch, there's a sprint on at the same time by another club. I'll drop the chairman a line and see what the deal is with spectators. |

Just looking at the entry list and there's 12 MX5 entries (at least one double driven) and 2 of those are supercharged. Also in our class we have a Honda S2000 and a Cayman S. Will be an interesting day.

MX5s have become the weapon of choice for solos over the past couple of years.

Seems to be the case. I haven't done a Solo for a couple of years so expecting to be a tad rusty. It'll be really interesting to see how the MK3 performs over the earlier cars. It should be pretty good with that extra torque, wider tyres and better PAS. THe extra weight will offset some of that of course. I'll be having fun trying to stay in the slippery leather seat as I don't think I'll have the time before the event to fit my bucket seats.

An interesting yet unsurprising lineup, though I'll guarantee no competition from this end of the pack... I'll be lucky if I get around the cones the right way.
But still, it's a chance to practice car control at a level I can't do safely on the roads, including a bit of sideways - I have spare tyres for the commute...
