Guys, where is the best place to get a new one - NB 1.8 A/C. I've looked on eBay and the specialist suppliers, the price varies a lot.
Any advice gratefully received.

I bought a Fast5 for my NA, straight drop-in fit, no hassle. Good company to deal with, which is worth the extra over eBay in my opinion.

Curlyteeth Thanks for mentioning that. I don't know either about NA-vs-NB rads Is yours a new standard rad or larger capacity all alloy one?

Its a standard Rad from a 97 NA that I dismantled after buying it for parts - it had a Supercharger setup amongst other things that wanted but the car had stood on cliff top on the south coast for 3years and body was totalled. the rad looks fine though, when I took it off it was full of coolant - I took every thing I could carry - right down to the engine, gearbox and LSD.

Different mounting points. Although you could probably make it work...

Curlyteeth Thanks again Curlyteeth. I'll leave it you don't mind. I decided to opt for a new rad, just got to decide between a standard Nissens (£60) or a larger all alloy from the likes of Fast5. Cheers.

I bought the cheapest eBay alloy rad from eBay for my mk1. It looks VEEERY similar to other higher priced alloy rads. I would be very surprised if it wasn't made in exactly the same Chinese factory.......... 😗 Performs perfectly.

O.k. guys, in the end I didn't bother with an larger all alloy rad as I reckoned it was bit overkill for just ordinary road use on a standard engine. I ended up buying a new Nissens radiator for 67 quid which I'm happy with and if I do at some stage decide to track the car I'll get a larger rad then.
Thanks again.
