Hey folks !! Finally got my sweet nc and had a skuzzle 193 upgrade . Well chuffed , in a ploy to get a little more I sourced a head to port and ended up with a whole engine 👍. However in my quest to lighten and balance it I m at a cross roads or rather I need some info . Folks : does the 2009 onward ( stronger , revvier ) crankshaft fit into the 2008 bottom end ? If so what else do I need ? The carrier perhaps ? The 2008 crank is shot but all the rest of the bottom end is good at only 35000 miles so I m thinking while I gotta grind the crank and lighten it , why not upgrade to the Mazda improved item . And in short research I see that rods and pistons are all required ....so onto my next question! Does anybody have these things I desire ? Or know where I might get them 😉. Thanks again DaveH

Right !!!! I m all caught up ! Sorry folks this is a new game for me ,
Available but not worth it and so I m now going with existing bottom end regrind and light n balance that , along with clutch fly wheel and front pulley . Port n polish the head . Retune wallop !!! I m looking for 7 hp to tip into the 200 and an engine that spins like it was made to . I ll take a coupla months what with apocalypse on an all but ere we go 💥thanks for errrrr thanks DaveH.
