Thats a great effort for your first time!
I tend to do rise and quarry slightly different every time. Still not mastered it. I tend to never brake when it bends left into quarry and never go over to the left. I aim straight for the quarry inside apex and go from there. Not a bad corner to have a bit of understeep. You gotta be going some to understeer off at quarry! We should change the thread title to castle combe lap times and lap discussions lol

For quarry you should hit Avon rise on the far left and once the suspension loads up hammer the brakes. Aim for the traffic light. Late turn in and hammer the throttle.

We should change the thread title to castle combe lap times and lap discussions lol Thanks man, I was absolutely bricking it waiting to get in to the paddock, I had a R32 GTR to my left, VXR8 in front of me and Astra VXR behind me lol but when I got out there, I felt comfortable pretty much straight away and just drove. I was told to head to the left over the rise and to duck into Quarry but to be honest, I forgot all advice and soon as I was out there haha +1 for Combe discussion thread! This is pretty much exactly what I was told but as I said, it all went out the window haha I tried to weld my foot to the floor to overcome the understeer but I didn't have the grapes in the end. I ended up coming out pretty much dead on the painted curb which ended up being ok as it gave the faster cars a chance to get around me. I am too scared to do that lol.
