My name is Andrew Whittle, Andy, AndrewW, Whittle, Whittler...or just plain old "mate". I answer to all of them.
I'm a self-employed professional quilter and sewing machine mechanic and I run a business in Corfe Mullen with Stella my boss! She is a seamstress and alters wedding dresses, bridesmaids etc for a living. So if you are getting married and your other half needs she dress fitting let me know

I own two MK1's: a UK 1996 1.8 Gleneagles MX5 and a turbo'd 1996 1.8 Eunos Roadster. I love NAs.
The Gleneagles is completely standard but had a terrible respray about 5 years ago (a sad story for another day
).
The turbo'd Roadster is a hoot to drive and was bought as a replacement for a Caterham R300 Superlight that I had to sell to finance my business....<sigh!> It's not as fast but is probably more fun to drive regularly because it doesn't want to rip your head off and spit in your neck every time you drive it...and SWMBO will drive it too.
There never seems to be any meetings in this area of the South Coast apart from the MX5OC but they don't seem to appreciate my full mod'ed Roadster....I can't think why
