Awesome! All we need now is some closed road roadsigns and we're off!

Unfortunately I think it is only MSA or ACU licensed events!! But I could ask Dorset County Council if mighty5s could have Zigzag hill for a day!😆😉 I assume organisers will apply to the local Authority - I bet it won't be cheap - but it's a good move. If they can close roads for running and cycling then it's only fair that motorsport gets a look in

It's another badly needed revenue stream for local councils

Awesome I don't know why but I always think of road racing as better - perhaps it's the added risk, perhaps it's the fact that one can drive the same roads on any other day, but it just seems more fun and way cooler And we all know driving fast on the road feels faster than driving on a wide open track with nothing to hit and no reference points! I recommend 'Classic Motorsport Routes' by evo magazine's Richard Meaden if anyone fancies reading about some of the historical road races - the older generation really were a different generation, they must have had cahoonas of steel to achieve what they did in basically a fuel tank with skinny wheels and drum brakes. www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=classic+motorsport+routes

Hoping FDMC will run a road based sprint/hill event in the future.
Just search for burg cup on YouTube to see how our European friends do it.

Oh no rich not zig zag hill until they have resurfaced it!! Yup, you're right there. It is terrible, I wonder if they leave it like that on purpose😡

Presumably Coventry MotoFest has got around it the last few years as there's no actual racing? Just closed roads for exhibiting the cars?
It'll be interesting to see if they now use the ring road for racing.
