I'm thinking of doing the Gurston HSA event in August as I reckon I might get on better with it now I have some hill climb experience and some of that fear has subsided, it currently ranks probably quite unfairly due to my first time experience as the worst hill I have been on.
I was going to do Curborough with HSA but there doesn't seem to be a reasonable class for a roadgoing 1B shod Mazda except for the kit car class, am I missing something, looks like they want you on 1A tyres?

Looks like they have split the road going classes into 3 confusing unnecessary groups.
A standard class. SA SB SC SD depending on engine size
Road modified on list 1a tyres classes 1a 1b 1c depending on engine size.
Road modified on list 1b tyres 1d 1f 1 e depending on engine size
So I will be class 1e
Sandy you will be 1f
no caterhams in theses classes as they are in class2!
confusing or what!

So it turns out that I also lifted the rear on the weekend, it's fair to say that I didn't notice 😁 I assume that's because the clutch diff was doing it's job.

You should go on to Swansea motor club on facebook and look at the Escorts on 2 wheels, the guy was photographing the exhausts
