Guys, what do you want from this forum? I can set up a traders area for you to do things like group buys or I can just make you a special group and you can put stuff in the classifieds.
Let me know your thoughts and lets make this forum Trader friendly for both traders and shoppers.

Registered Trader status would be useful for people to know who is hopefully more trustworthy.
A traders sub-section would be good for us to post up offers and deals, keep them separate from the riff-raff of the normal for sale section |

As a buyer and potential trader a section for trader offers is a good idea. Also having trader ads and regular classifieds separate makes both less cluttered and more user friendly. |

Well we're on board, seeing as I petty much can't post on Nutz without getting my wrist slapped. Can't even answer direct questions about our products on there now.
Trader status would be good, and keep the for sale section as is. In fact try and clone Nutz from two years ago, job done!!

The good question is, is this platform here a good base? Hosting and domain wont cost much, if someone could set up hacker-proof forum, that might be the way to go?

But honestly the reader thing is hard. Nobody wants the big guys in with staff paid to just post stuff, but the small guys need free reign to do what they used to do on nutz.
It's how trust was built for most of us. My business grew out of nutz. If it tried to do that again now itd fail at the start.
But how do you distinguish between come and see me I'm a trader and come see me I've been a contributing member for years who slipped into business because of all you guys. There's a difference and its usually one will help you out and go to any length the other just wants you money and will go to any length to get it. Can't see how you police the difference though. Or even if you should.
People are the problem. The internet scammer wasn't a regular thing 4-5 years ago... At least not in the mx5 world.
