Yeah, that's the same colour as mine. Looks great after a clean & wax. Also seems to vary massively in different light.
Your paintwork seems to be in much better condition than mine! Great to see another Mk3 joining us. That's two that I know of in one week.

Did you know that there is two different shades of copper red, so be careful if you have a panel resprayed
