Hi all,
Just purchased a turbocharged MK1..enjoying the rawness of no creature comforts.
Needs a bit of work (most importantly, raising the suspension as it's to low to be practical).
I'm sure I'll be asking a few questions soon enough.
Hope to meet some others soon.

Hello and welcome. There's a monthly meet in Bracknell if you fancy meeting some us nutters.

Hi and welcome. As a base measure my ride height runs at 310mm front and 320mm rear. That's measured from the hub centre to nearest point of the wheel arch vertically above (providing arches are un-modified/un-damaged). Gives it a nice stance and it's sufficient clearance for the front after-market lip to avoid all but the tallest speed bumps. HTH. Cheers, Pewe.

Thanks all.
Horney - ah that sounds good although is there something closer to Basingstoke way at all?
Pewe - thank you very much. That is very helpful as that is exactly what I'm after. I have speed bumps all the way to the house.

I have heard mention of a Basingstoke MX5 Meet but never managed to find out when or where.
