Nice thread, loving your taste. Could you please tell me what wheels, wheel specs and tire sizes the car in this pic is using? And also what those wide arches are called/where from?

Did a bit of work on the car over the Christmas period. I had the diff, prop-shaft, driveshafts, and brakes to fit from the MK2 that I broke for parts. I was planning on cleaning them up, but decided against it as I couldn't really be bothered in reality. Car is much better with the Torsen in, rear end is much more predictable, especially in wet/cold conditions. Also wired in a Summit Racing RPM switch to get the VICS working in the MK2 Inlet manifold. Is a noticeable increase in mid-range torque now its working, especially rolling on the throttle, induction note sounds louder now too, guess its the change in resonance making it louder. Painted my wheels too. I did them silver originally, but it looked too light on a white car, if the car was a different colour it would've looked prarrie canoe hot. Settled for Ford Tibetan gold in the end, spent ages in Halfrauds deciding on a colour. I think it suits the car, is much darker than the gold the wheels were originally (which I felt was too light for a white car). Fitted extended front studs too, I had some for the rear but ended up switching to MK2 hubs and uprights (which have different sized splines on the studs!) Some pictures... Absolute hotness.
Did you manage to run these without the 5mm spacers or do you need them too?

They fitted over the 1.6 brakes fine without the spacers, had to put them on to go over the 1.8 brakes, carriers are much bigger towards the centre of the disc. Had to chop the metal tab off (for the arch liners) at the rear of the arches, and trim the front bumper support down after I put the spacers on.
