These are likely to be the same people bemoaning how congested the motorways are - which they will be if you effectively TAKE UP HALF THE CanoeING ROAD so people can't legally* get past...
*Undertaking isn't actually illegal, of course, but I've not had the pleasure of discussing the technicalities with a friendly copper looking to try and book me for Driving Without Due Care And Attention, or whatever they'd use...

As far as I'm concerned. The driving lane is always the first lane. So I'm always trying to stay in/As close to lane one. Not my fault if lane 3,4, And 5 are going slower than me š

I remember driving home from cornwall near christmas a couple years back, middle of the night on the M5, LITERALLY NOBODY on the road for miles, and I came across some KA driving at 65 in the middle lane.... So I leave the left lane, and start flashing them to get in the proper lane, which they did. I drive past and get back in the first lane as you would, look in my rear view AND THE PLONKER MOVES BACK INTO THE MIDDLE LANE EVEN THOUGH THE MOTORWAY IS COMPLETELY EMPTY. MIND = BLOWN.

This irritates me soo much! I've done trips to North Wales and Cornwall in the last few weeks and the amount of people sitting in the middle or even the Canoeing outer lane is just ridiculous! Didn't the po-po say they were going to crack down on this a few years ago?

AMERICAN DRIVERS ARE TERRIBLE ANYWAY, BUT TODAY TOOK THE PISS. DRIVING ALONG THE MOTORWAY IN A JEEP WHERE THERE'S A MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY LANE ON THE LEFT. DOING ABOUT 20MPH BECAUSE RUSH HOUR. MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY LANE ENDS, EVERYONE MERGES ONE AT A TIME. I LET SOMEONE IN. CanoeING Canoe BEHIND HIM STARTS DRIVING ALONG RIGHT NEXT TO MY BACK WHEEL INDICATING BUT NOT PULLING IN. PULLS UP ALONGSIDE ME AND STARTS GESTICULATING THAT I'M IN HIS WAY. GIVE HIM THE FINGER AND LET HIM SIT THERE, HIS CAR'S WORTH MORE THAN MINE. EVENTUALLY HE PULLS IN BEHIND ME AND STARTS MAKING SARCASTIC APPLAUSE GESTURES. PROCEEDS TO TAILGATE FOR ABOUT A MILE, UNTIL HE CAN UNDERTAKE ME AND GET STUCK IN MORE TRAFFIC. DOESN'T SEEM TO APPRECIATE MY SALUTE AS I CRUISE PAST HIM.

I don't get it. Joining the A27, me and a car in front. Car in front merges in, no worries. An Avensis bit nearer to me, so I indicate and check my mirror, he'll move over as there's nothing else near him.

Ah he's moving over, good lad. As I merge into lane, he changes his mind half way through his lane change, and goes right back to where he was.
Y U MOVE BACK OVER WHILE I'M STILL MERGING?!
He then overtakes me, and gives me the horn (not in a good way, giggidy giggidy).
Hand waving he goes past, horn blaring.
I overtook him not long after, he held his horn on again as I went by, many rude hand gestures, showing off to his missus.
Gave him the gayest little hand wave I could and carried on my way.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND HIS MIND. "Move right to let this guy in, lol nah changed my mind you're not allowed in, now I'm angry"
