Hi All,

Got the tip to come over and join here from my good friend Horney

I'm pretty new to the MX5 world having got one at the end of last year to replace my Elise. I felt like something new (and by new ... I mean ... dry). Plus I thought I'd see if people come up with any new Hairdressers jokes. So I got me a NC with the folding hardtop as a best of both worlds for keeping dry and going topless at whim. I just dropped it off to BBR today to see if I can get back a bit of the performance I sadly miss ...

The MX5 is my practical daily drive to take some of the miles off my poor aging classic Mini that I've been hooning around in since 2004. I've been in to Minis my whole life and they've got me into loads of great times and a few awesome friends from t'internet from the last time Horney was involved in starting a car forum ...

So if I've worked the attachment system right there should be a picture of the two cars after last I cleaned them...

It was an amazing car in every way, but I think I finally decided I couldnt have one as my daily on the A303 in a rainstorm when my two bar towels were already sopping wet and I couldnt soak up the drips anymore ...

Which combined with the fact that I felt I was wasting an Elise (I live in London) and the UK roads really dont let you drive one properly anymore ... too busy, too bumpy ... and I sold it

There's some truly terrible ones of me with long hair and hammered off my face. I blame Fluff, she still a bad influence even now. I've had to stop drinking at the work christmas parties otherwise she'll have me poll dancing on the tables and grinding the MD.
