Hi all, Having only just registered I thought I'd best say hello from sunny Glasgow. Spotted the site on a banner in Horney's signature on another site Currently on my third 5, started with a mk2.5, then mk3 now a mk1. A slightly backwards approach to 5 ownership. I'll chuck up a build thread at some point but here' a few pictures of the 5's: MX5 1-2 by Scott Reid, on Flickr NC1 by Scott Reid, on Flickr Anyways, I've a few technical queries to try sort out with the NA so expect a few threads to appear, hopefully I'll gt a better response here If the stickers come back in stock I'll be after a set. Thanks, Scott

Hullo Hullo, welcome.
Really nice photo of the Mk3. Looks like the MK1 needs some love!

Hullo Hullo, welcome. Really nice photo of the Mk3. Looks like the MK1 needs some love! Cheers mate, photography is the other expensive hobby. Indeed, someone had daily driven/drifted it, won it in a Facebook bonus ball raffle for £20.00 though so not all bad

Twenty quid! I thought I'd had a couple of cheap mx5s, that takes the biscuit!

Cheers guys, unfortunately I've not managed to drive it yet and it's plenty mechanical issues for me to sort out (instead of the usual rust).
I would have bought 3 tickets for £60.00, but only manged to buy the very last one for £20.00, very very lucky indeed!
I'll get a build thread started, try not to waffle on too much!

Hi and welcome! £20 for a Mk1 is a pretty amazing deal, and I'm sure there's nothing that can't be sorted out

Hi and welcome! £20 for a Mk1 is a pretty amazing deal, and I'm sure there's nothing that can't be sorted out Thanks mate, indeed it's more a matter of getting time to spend on the car, grown up responsibilities and all that. Tremendously lucky to win it, quite unlucky with the timing Anyway, link to the mighty build thread.
