Every build thread starts with the first step, so it's not pathetic at all. Nice work on the hoops, 100% better than the nasty chrome. The only thing I'd question is, do you have enough bite with your nuts having now fitted the spacers ? Wheels colour wise if they were mine would defiantly keep as they are now, but having said that satin black would look bad ass !

They're hubcentric whatever that means, the spacer bolts onto the hub and the wheel bolts onto the spacer if that makes sense. I cant add images from my phone over 1mb now?, but they look like these. I think the max for the kind of spacer your'e talking about is 5mm. I could be wrong though Attachments:

At least you cant see the the driver's seat when you'e sitting in it, interesting repair patch by creative solutions. I don't think I'm gonna be able to live with it for too long. Nice seats ain't cheap though. Attachments:

Hi Chris, as Undercard says generally 20-25mm spacers will bolt on to existing hub. The spacers then have their own threaded studs which you then bolt your wheels on to as normal without any loss of length If the spacers are a bit thinner, you can cut off a bit of length of your original hub studs š

Was just asking the question as some people may not be aware. With the spacers being hub centric its all good

This what can happen when you let your 8yr old son look at pictures on the internet, and hang out in the garage with you. I give you grey/silver electrical tape bonnet stripes! It was a laugh, at least I thought it was a laugh until he had a meltdown when I suggested taking them off. They don't particularly look like elecrtical tape but still..... Edit: stripes been ripped the f**k off, forget you ever saw this!

Where are you based? I've got a nice MK1 tombstone with very slightly crackly headrest speakers that will be removed ASAP to get my bucket seat in the car.

I'm looking to get some buckets myself, reckon I'll have to live with the seats I have till then. Decent ones on eBay seem overpriced or sell instantly.
