Yay! Rather like Nissan did a couple of years ago with a batch of Datsun 240Z's, except it sounds like this will be an ongoing project with cars restored to individual order. It's a halo product which makes people feel warm and fuzzy about Mazda so putting mint ones back on the road makes good sense as publicity and as a knock-on benefit for us it might mean that factory spares remain available longer than they otherwise might.

Awesome Now if other manufacturers would just follow suit and actually offer similar services for the awesome 90s hot hatches etc... I know Mercedes still make basically everything they've ever made, so I wish others would too. I recall there was a car at the Mercedes place at Brooklands that some guy had literally built up from the spare parts over 30-odd years!

Would quite fancy a brand new Renault 5 Gordini Turbo I had one of those, early 80's (my 2nd car)! A kind of sandy green colour with a beige velour interior. It was great, when I managed to not snap driveshaftes or bend pushrods from over revving it. Cool wheels too.
