So, Miss Boringits Roadster has developed a rumble rumble, shake shake above around 60 which subsides around 80 (yes officer, 70).
I've had similar before on one of my own and never got to the bottom of it.
Wheel bearings are fine.
Track rod ends are new, and the inner tie rods have no play.
All of the ball joints at the front are new, one done before she got the car, one done by us for MOT, and the uppers I got my local indie to do. (Maztech, if you're local to Gosport, Andy is a top bloke)
The wheel nuts are done up correctly.
Have considered a wheel has a lost a balancing weight. Anything else?

Clutch changed recently? Any thing on the drive train not aligned correctly? Sorry forgot to add, Auto. Nothing touched, and the car is completely standard. Tyres all in good order. However alignment will be out after we did all the track rods for last MOT. Not sure how much of some difference that would make tho.

Is it only at one corner or on one axle? Swap the wheels to the opposite corners and that should help determine if it moves and is therefore wheel/tyre related.
Could it be driveshaft related? Couldn't be propshaft as it would surely do it at the same engine speed in each gear, but driveshafts would only rotate at the individual road speeds?
Or maybe Diff/gearbox related? Have they got enough/new oil in?

Don't drive the car very often as its hers, and doesn't go on the motorway that often either Dooesny matter what gear, if you boot it and kickdown it still does it, at the required speed of 75-80. Want to do the box and diff oils at some point, luckily as its auto CNN check the fluid easily and its fine and clean ish. Want to change tho to clear up the clunky changes, its probably the original 25 year old oil. I've just remembers I have an mx5 on standard wheels too, so I can just put mine on and see if it occurs still. That would solve it really. Lol.

Dynamic balance on the wheels. (Harmonic balance issues)
