Well i tried to do some work on the 5 today, went to support it on axle stands, heard a bang and voila, my passenger side sill is now fecked. Huge holes have appeared and its gone from looking a bit crusty to full on holy prarrie canoe i need to fix!
Any recomendations for places in south wales to do a quality repair? Dont mind travleling a bit for the right job!
I cant afford both sides at once so i figure do one side at a time, sound reasonable?

The only two places I would trust in the south are Mark as above and the MX5Restorer near Brighton. I'm probably going to tackle mine myself however.
PS it is annoying the axle stand/OEM jack point is where most of us suffer from rust issues. |

I completely forgot about totalmx5, duh! Thanks for reminding me! I'll have to get in touch or pop down the next time i have a saturday free Usually I jack it on the diff and support it on the rear subframe, my fault for deciding to do it differently this time  |

If you fancy a road trip, Fat Fender near Southport did an awesome job on mine last year for a great price
I did a 6 hour drive up there from Surrey and it was so worth it

Mark is great, you shouldn't have any problems
Just make sure you have communication from whoever you go to so you know if things are going to start getting more expensive
