I took delivery of a freshly landed RS-Limited around a year ago. Great condition especially underneath where it only has a few signs of any rust on a few bolts etc. No rust on the body from what I can see I plan a refurb/refresh inspired by a few RS-Limited car i have seen in the UK. It will not end up concourse, but will be a bit of a garage queen with dry runs at weekends when I am home. I work in Abu Dhabi and only get home 4 weeks a year. This is my long term project so updates may not be so frequent ! It will join my slightly less rust free S-Limited in my garage. It is on another ride thread and the refurb has started..! Important parts to begin with...It has the Recaro seats and BBS alloys.. Here it is after a quick wash Got some after market dials. Not sure make... You can see my poor s-limited in the background! My Recaros(sorry tiny pic can't keep at correct angle!) with added leather i think Rear sill Front wishbone (manifold is a bit rusty though!) Rear Engine bay Fairly clean boot had to replace the rear light seals as they were letting in water and do the shift boots as per.. Home next week for a couple of weeks and I plan to update when back...

That is a very sensible renovation of the seats as they get scuffed quite badly getting in and out.

So... back from Dubai for week and was going to work on my S-ltd, but with the good weather we are having I decided to MOT and tax this one... Passed first time after two and a half years off road. MOT guy said it is like new underneath and immaculate so should stay that way for a few years i hope. To celebrate took it for a blast around the country roads near me One problem appeared which is that the exhaust rattled at each bump. Investigated and you can see that one side of the back box was held up a bracket made of air! Meant that the exhaust was sitting about 4mm above lower brace bar and free to rattle Took it to a local exhaust specialist (Elite Custom Exhaust - Ayr) and they managed to sort They doubled up on supports and welded stop to prevent slippage from rubber. All banging now stopped so enjoyed the ride home. All banging now stopped so enjoyed the ride home. You can see gap is about 15mm and solid now. Will do some more updates when back May

I have a sneaking suspicion that is a Corn*s V2 exhaust. If so I'm bloody jealous. Also your car is gorgeous. My ultimate favourite colour for an mx5
