Hello all,
Got a few Mazdaspeed parts I'm never going to get around to using / repairing (see below), so offering them for sale. I've nominally priced each item at £150, but basically I'm open to sensible offers. I've posted the items on Mighty5s first, as I know you're all people of excellent taste and good repute. Right?
Collection isn't so much preferred as essential, as I'm not really in a position to post - especially the larger items. I live in Cambridge and work in Peterborough (lucky me), so either of those locations is feasible for this.
I am also planning to attend the OC National Rally in Gaydon on 24 September, and I can bring a van rather than my MX-5 if needs be. I may also be able to drop things off within reasonable distance - certainly there's no harm in asking...
Anyway, on to the gear.
First up a Mazdaspeed front bumper for the mk1.
That is to say, a damaged Mazdaspeed bumper - but keep reading.
This was on my car when I bought it (along with the manifold, see below), so assume it came over with it from Japan. The bumper is fibreglass, and got cracked in the stormy weather of a couple of years ago - clearly it could be repaired.
Surprisingly, the metal support struts are in good shape (these usually rust and snap), but what's more it has the lower rubber lip that's often missing and what appears to be a specific air guide, which I've never seen before. This is also damaged, note.
More pictures:
Next, a Mazdaspeed steering wheel.
Could do with a refurb, but is generally sound, and I believe it to be genuine. Comes with what you see (except the table, sorry), including the boss and boss surround. Diameter appears to be the same as the standard mk1 Momo - which is the only reason I'm not using it; I've a slightly smaller wheel on the car at the moment.
Again, more pictures:
Next a classic Mazdaspeed strut brace.
I warn you, these aren't as precisely made as something like a Carbing, and this one's got a rattle from what's probably a pit of rivet from the badge inside the tube, but it's a lovely bit of JDM bling. Yo.

Mazdaspeed manifold for mk1 1600 - blowing
Need to actually take some pictures of this, but again it was on my car when I bought it, and has the headshield that's often missing. Was replaced by a Racing Beat header when BLiNK pointed out it was blowing slightly. Didn't stop the car delivering good numbers on the dyno, and I guess if you can find a stainless steel welder it could be repaired. Otherwise, it's a lovely piece of wall art...
I've also got a some what worn Mazdaspeed carbonfibre-sleeved gearknob I'm also not using. But I'm not currently sure where that is!
Ok, that's your lot. Looking forward to the insults regarding the pricing - but like I said, I am open to offers.
Cheers.
