My NA has got a bit of acne on the lower edge of its front wings I was hoping to get some of the fibreglass lower wing panel thingys but The MX5 Restorer has stopped making them... Balls. What other options do I have? New wings? Cut wing mod? Deal with the rot? Ideas welcome

I have a similar issue, and THE MOMENT a breaker comes up, I ask after front wings and they're ALWAYS already sold.....Grrr. When I finally come to do my body work I have a feeling I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and buy new panels

And there is no guarantee the wings you buy won't be shot.
Apparently the fibreglass lower vent panels are being made by someone else now. Can't find out by who though.
Canoe rust. I've just spent enough for management on having a Canoeing hole welded up

Hi Chaps, I bought mine from a guy called Ivailo Yordanov. He trades by the name IMG Services LTD, based around Basildon way. They make all sorts of fibreglass products for a 5. Fitment is okay for a fibreglass copy, all holes require drilling and they're not perfect but they're not too bad. Anything else you need from me just ask. Crumpets

The vented wings like i have aren't on there though, if you're after them perhaps contact him via facebook.

Can't quite work it out...is price per pair? Yeah it's a price for a pair of wings. If shipping method is kept the same they came courier in a wooden box to keep them from breaking in transit. The only criticism I have is with the vent hole on my vented ones, there was originally wire mesh in place with a hot glue application. It looked as though stevie wonder was in charge of this part of manufacturing though so they were swiftly removed with a bit of heat and a little force. Thanks Crumpets! Looks like they have some flared rear arches on there as well! Anytime, glad I could be of help. There certainly is a lot to browse. He also did wider arches too, handy for people running wider wheels. I love the look of mine - essentially Oem style with a vent by the wing repeater.

I guess my only worry about fibreglass is reduced strength in a crash scenario!
I imagine the carbon fibre stuff Fast5 can get hold of would be better in that regard, but £££... lol
