After buying two second hand stock switch's that didn't work I purchased a wolf set off ebay, everything seemed ok until I tried to fit the surround in the centre console, the plate was to wide and the loom hits the moulding for the original switch. I managed to get the plate in by grinding it down but it's still not great tbh. I'm reluctant to cut the console just in case I have to bite the bullet and buy a new Mazda item. The supplier has been great, is sending me another and said they had not had problems before (these have been on the market for years) Question is, has anyone else had one and did it fit correctly?

Do you have a mk2 or MK2.5? As the window switches are different shapes and you may be getting the wrong shape
