I resent the fact I have to share the Earth with these types of people. Twats.
Are your house keys on your car keys? (This is why everyone should keep them separate!) Is your licence registered to your home address?
If the answer to both is Yes, it might be an idea to get the locks changed at home.
If the answers are No and Yes in that order, that is a better scenario but still worth being vigilante and asking the neighbours to keep an eye out - can you park the car in a garage or on someone else's drive in a quiet place (far) away from home for a bit?
I think it would be worth getting a new lock/ignition barrel set ordered and fitted ASAP, but get a DiskLok from Halfords or wherever immediately. Perhaps Amazon 1-day delivery.
You should probably tell your insurance company, too - although the cost of any claim you could make under any Lock Replacement cover you might have would probably be under your excess anyway and not worth claiming, and they'd likely destroy your NCB and bend you over next year...

I work cleaning a college after hours. I clean the cafe. Few young hoodlums walked into the cafe. I told them it was closed. They walked out into the lobby stairwell and went upstairs to the upstairs cafe. I went to the kitchen to radio security who said theyd be right over. About 2 minutes past and i realised that id left the staffroom door open upstairs so i ran up there and closed the door just assuming they were just bored naughty kids havin a laugh trespassing. Security arrived and the kids walked off towards the exit and carpark (which is along way away) its a big college. I spoke with the security and they said theylle go and look for more of them and start locking doors. About 5 minutes past and i realised that my car keys are not in my pocket. So i run upto the staffroom to check my bag. Not alot in my bag hence why i didnt check it in the first instance..so My bag looks untouched but my lighter had changed pockets and my car keys were gone.. i panicked and briskly walked upto the car park. At this point i wasnt sure of whether id lost my keys or theyd been taken. Thank god my car was still there. Weirdly it was locked and my hoodies and a bag of clothes and other items were still in the car so i was properly baffled.. on closer inspection i could see that the ashtray was open in the car which i never leave open and the tobacco i left on the seat was gone Thats when i knew.. i hoped that they hadnt found the glove box and centre console pocket where the wallet and sat nav were. 10 minutes later i had gotten into my car without breaking anything by using a random key that opened my door (facepalm) i checked the center console and my wallet was gone. My heart sunk. Checked the glove box and sat nav was still there. Luckily my wallet had no money in it and i cancelled my card immediately. Do theyve taken my wallet and car keys and tobacco. I reported it to the police who were useless tbh. Lucky i have a spare key at home so gf brought that to me. The kids are reported to have walked all around the college looking for open doors and a makeshift lock pick was found. They have been caught on cctv from many angles thats confirmed but i doubt i will see my wallet or keys or driving license again Luckily im away from home until monday in thatbtime i will have go and get a big yellow wheel lock or just take my steering wheel off over night.

We had some foreign scum in town a few years ago that lifted my car keys while I was rolling a fag, they said they could find them for £10 which of course I new meant they had them. I stuck to them like glue while they pretended to search for them until my patience ran out and I threw one of them against a brick wall, amazingly they turned up pretty quick after that.

I know we all make mistakes when we are younger, but there's nicking some sweets from the supermarket and then there's bare-faced theft of personal possessions, knowing full well they'll get a juvenile's caution at most.
Grrrrrr.
