Hi all Ripped out this lot today Too replace with this lot, and the rear of the car is soon to follow with refurbished sub frame I've done Problem I have is that I didn't make note of the position of the alignment bolts on the front sub frame. Now I know that the car will be need professional alignment once on the road, so wanting to know when I'm refitting suspension front and rear what marks should line up where from the bolts to the sub frames so the car would be not a complete mess. Thanks

When I did mine, I just set the camber bolt adjustment to about half way and drove the short distance to the alignment place with no problem.

'S ok, the camber bolts are eccentric, and as you turn them they move the wishbone in toward the subframe, or outwards. Just get the wishbone neither fully in nor fully out, and tighten it all up and take it for alignment. It may not drive very nicely, but certainly won't be undriveable. I couldn't tell in stop-start traffic tbh.

Try putting it all back together get it on some level ground and adjust the camber bolts so all four wheels are straight (90 deg to the flat surface) then see how it drives.

Thanks for the info and links. Unfortunately the car is out on the drive which has a downward gradient and on a angle and cant really have it the road for adjustments as has no MOT or tax at present.
