What is a “canoe”, I see it frequently referred to in posts but fail to see the context...

It’s the swear filter. It replaces many of the commonly used curse words with canoe. I chose canoe because I always thought it was an interesting sounding word and it’s more funny that just replacing swear words with censored emoji or similar.
Hopefully that’s kicked the prarrie canoe of that Canoeing question. Lol.

Just realised you might not be a native English speaker as well. A Canoe is one person, one bladed paddle boat. Same as a kayak, which uses a two bladed paddle.

It does make me laugh but that one is very much an in joke for the 5 people that were at Retro Rides and probably shouldn’t be in the swear filter.

Thanks for the clarification, I can assure Horney that I am a native of this sceptred isle, and speak both English and Spanish.
I never thought of a swear filter (being an ex grammar school boy) just thought it was a term used by the “yoof” of today...
