Had enough of your family and want to go for a spin over New year, Bristol Pegasus are holding an Auto solo new years eve, pretty noddy venue, somewhere between a taster and a real autosolo but good bunch of guys and you can have a laugh, only £15.

List of invited clubs is pretty small but I know a few here have Bristol Memberships due to MX5 championship, I'm sure if they were low on entries it could be opened up.

Good day, nice to meet you gbuk, shame you were to late for an entry, weather crap as usual but has me feeling ready for a proper solo now, started off a little shakey, front end a little less positive with the AD08R removed in place of CSC5s.
Got back in tune with it quite quickly and was putting in some of the fastest times, so the car still has it and felt pretty good to be back behind the wheel.
Not sure where I came due to the results not being done correctly or people being in the right class but unlike normal solos every run was counted so my early muppetry probably hurt.
All good fun though and looking forward to som championship rounds now.

Crap weather indeed but looked good fun and your runs looked very neat and tidy unlike some of the noisy lairy slidey types;)
If the weather is likely to be grim in South Hams I'd best get my entry in and my thermals sorted!

South Hams has always been grim so definitely consider good clothing and wind protection, gloves etc, for when marshalling.

Great at Bristol Pegasus auto solo amazing what fun u can have in a carpark
first auto solo and mx5 outing for few months
many thanks to organisers especially with rain etc
got me thinking about next season

Results are in, they did do dropped scores in the end, unfortunately I still got beat, my first round was just too slow, 2nd Overall, 0.35 off of FTD, still pretty good considering the grip advantage the 4wd would of had in the wet. magnox well done for your second in class.  |
