In the day F1 Ferraris were deffo not the cars to follow.
To assist in generating huge power output (similar to this one) AGIP, the nationalised petrol supplier, formulated special, cocktail fuels (read rocket fuel).
Following them evidently could lead to respiratory problems from the toxic exhaust fumes.
Not many people know that.....
