Does anyone have a complete assembly? i.e. red plastic lamp unit thing, and bulb holder with some wiring still attached? (so I can chocolate-block to the existing wiring)
For some bizarre reason my centre brakelight unit has a bulb holder held in with blu-tack, and the replacement bulb holder I got from MX5Parts is apparently not the same as the one that's broken, therefore doesn't fit...
The blu-tack has also failed in the cold weather, meaning the bulb has been hanging out and the bulb touching the plastic, which has melted the holder with the heat from the filament, meaning now it won't go back in the hole properly 
FFS!
I'm guessing that someone must have one spare laying around!  |

Pretty sure I've a brake light and gasket (no bulb holder/wires), if you end up needing it.

I may take just a unit itself TBH, as at least that way I could fit the bulb holder in and gaffa tape it - at the moment the bulb is only half in due to the melted surround! lol |
