I want a fire extinguisher for my car and also one for the workshop at home. Any recommendations? I’ve got a GCF extinguisher mount, so I guess nothing too big I guess. Thanks

Bought the same mount as you, haven't fitted yet though. Extinguisher I bought: HERE

My advice: In both cases, buy as big an extinguisher as you can. I'd go for a 2kg or 5kg CO2 one for the workshop/garage. If you actually have to use it, you'll be surprised how quickly it's exhausted.

I too have been looking for one, most I've found don't have a proper clip holding the extinguisher to its bracket unless you want to pay silly money for a competition item.

For organised events a car extinguisher has to be the right sort of foam (AFFF) and also the right volume, I got caught out with the wrong one! So that's in the garage and I got an approved one from merlin motorsport
