Nine Inch Nails - Suck Proper OCD crazy Reznor guitar army things going on. One of my favourite songs of theirs. Must be LOUD. NIN are my fave band by a standout mile, 25 years and always on a playlist (or mix tape back in the day). Broken (and fixed) are probably his two best efforts as well. He's just so consistently good, Hesitation Marks was effign brilliant and I caught the tour in Birmingham, such an epic live experience. He's said his working on new NIN material at the moment. I can't wait. I alos love all his soundtrack work (Gone Girl is incredible) and the stuff he does with his Mrs.

I haven't been keeping up with current events very well but I saw them at Primavera Sound a couple of years ago, and any apprehension I had that they might have lost it evaporated within seconds of them walking onstage. Some unlikely tracks ended up standing out, the wamping bass on Reptile was making my brain cavity throb in a way it hasn't throbbed in years. I was right at the front and the volume did not disappoint!

I worked in a studio for a few years, one of my fondest memories, was gwar in full stage gear rehearsing. Bonkers.
