Brand new Quaife helical LSD to suit NC MX5 (Mk 3) New purchase price from Quaife is £774 This operates on the same principle as the Torsen diff as fitted to some Mk 2 MX5's only it is stronger as better made. It can be bolted into your existing diff whether open or fitted with the Fuji cone type diff. Setting of the backlash and preload will be required. Bofi Racing show how this is done on a Mk 2 however the principle is the same for the Mk3. Message me if you have any questions Am selling as I purchased by mistake having a Mk2.5. Mk3 is fitted with a Super Fuju cone type LSD and is prone to breaking up.
Quaife if very similar to Torsen but better made

Can I ask what benefit this would add to my 2011 NC2 Miyako 2lt engine, which has LSD fitted. I may be interested.

The quaife should be able to provide more torque to the non slipping wheel over stock and be more immediate and consistent being geared, the stock LSD does have a benefit of having some pre-load so will work with a wheel off the ground but the stock LSD is not amazing in this regard nor is it very aggressive.
If you are mainly doing track stuff Quaife should be an upgrade, if you have a lot of power it will be stronger too.
If like me you do allsorts or things in the car like hills etc where you could have a wheel in the air the Quaife won't do anything, for this you need a clutched LSD from the likes of OS Giken, Kaaz, Maruha etc.
