You can share a specific location from Google maps pretty easily and that doesn't involve downloading a new app

Or if you go to the place yourself you can use the "share my location" feature in WhatsApp or Facebook messenger

I assume you know about geocaching?

I wanted to basically hand someone a letter, written with app details (name, login, etc), and the app takes them to a location. Once there they dig, find new coordinates or a new location to hunt for, and move on to that, creating a line of digs.

I'm out then. Good luck. For reference, I searched "gps plotter" with the idea that it would find an app where the person will enter coordinates and it makes up a map of points
