what cams & from where, we need information.... seriously, I'm thinking of getting some cam's ground..... Rich. Rich, these came from Japan at a Huge cost. They started as M2 / Mazdaspeed, then re ground for time attack use. I had to significantly modify the head to make them rotate thought they were'nt reprofiled standard as the lobes looked too thick! also presumed they'd need the head relieving, guess youre going solid followers then? also, whats the lift? (you may need to releve some of the headbolt bosses for high-lift as the follower bores are not machined deeply & they may collide ) I'm thinking about L1 & BD3 profile's but like yours these would need to be ground from a blank (for lobe profile & to keep a sensible base-circle) if you've bored +3mm, any idea as to the bore's wall thickness? all I've read about the 1.6 is that they were a bit 'thin' Rich.

Yeah, the bosses and follower bores were also massaged! Using China's finest carbide burrs. They are very thin walls, but Toda reassured it was it's safe limit, and even offered 1750cc as one step further Providing everything was balanced etc it should be fine, don't know how it would fair in boosted applications tbh. As will generate a lot more heat

Very nice. Centre exit exhausts are so cool. Like the old minis.
You wouldn't happen to have the old hks cams floating around would you....?

Converted to a Tailgate McNoIndicate waterpump, plan turned out pretty well. And fitted a 70mm thick Civic radiator instead of the 52mm that I had
