Can it be done? I realise most people take them out but I don’t have anywhere else to put them. (No cut outs in the door cards) Running the wires from the head unit shouldn’t a problem but I’m not sure about mounting the speakers. Thanks for any help

Have you considered the wind breaker with speakers built in? I found the headrest speakers gave me headaches

A lot of people simply get square speakers then cut out the foam a bit more so they squidge in
There will be threads and pictures out there of when people have fitted aftermarket speakers to headrest so the theory will be the same
+1 on the windocker with speakers. I found that to be better than my headrest speakers were, even with the OEM updated MSSS speakers in the seat

Thanks for the replies guys. Appreciated To be honest, I don’t really want a stereo at all, it’s just to appease the mrs the odd time she uses the car. I’ll look into just fitting any small speakers, cheers. The next big headache is trying to hide the headunit all together. I’m hard too or no top. Don’t really want any temptation if I ever have to park the car up!

You could do what moca2cv did and have an amp with 3.5mm in stuck behind the tombstone so all you do is plug into a headphone port and go. Nothing to fiddle with

Yes each seat has a left and right. I assume you don't have wiring for it under your carpet? If not you can go off the stereo wiring and feed it under the carpet
