Waiting on some more paint and hopefully getting it all put back together sometime soon. It wasn't an easy job getting it off and I've managed to source most of the bolts. I could do with the items arrowed, and probably a few of the plastic clips have seen better days.

My bits turned up on Thursday With lots of extra bolts and fixings So I got to work cleaning them up and giving them a lick of paint and it was only when I was admiring my handywork and placed new and old side by side that I realised they weren't quite the same Consider me deflated.

What a pain
Only difference seems to be the box thing? Hopefully it's not too painful to swap it onto your new one

You've bought the earlier ones - the extension on the front is an extra crumple piece which is designed to deform on impact. They'll still fit just fine, the plastic bumper bar mounts on them in the same way.

Cheers lowender, that confirms what the man from MX5spares said. Looks like it might be back together this weekend if the weather is kind dweemius, they're the bumper brackets that fix to the crossmember. mazdaepc.com/parts/MX-5/AENA03/Y2/5310/
