I probably didn't make myself clear, I was concerned about scraping on the huge number of speed pillows the Royal borough of Windsor and Maidenhead throw around, almost talked myself into going for it and then promptly got a four inch square plastic lamp stuck under my stock height car. I really can't risk ending up with a car that pisses me off on a daily basis. the answer is probably adjustable height coilovers, but they big money and I tight git.
Just to give you an idea. To get home from the station, where I am parked about twice a week, three speed bumps on each floor, 5 floors, a speed bump on the exit ramp, 4 speed pillows on shoppenhangers road on the approach to the school,, then another f5 ish on Wessex way before the shops. That's a one and a half mile journey, it really is insane around here. The biggest bump is the one on the way to the industrial estate that houses eurocar parts. That one isn't a bump it's a bloody damn. Comically there is a garage that specialises in race prepping Porsche on the same estate.
Does anyone local to me fancy driving from Maidenhead station to cox green in a 30 mm lowered nc1 and tell me how it went? I'll buy you a cake and a coffee for your time!

I thought they were just getting cheaper and cheaper? Not uncommon to see Mk3s sub £3,000 on ebay etc. Cheapest I've seen (for a car with no damage or issues and an MOT) was £2400. I thought about it but having driven the Mk4 I just can't see the point in a Mk3.
