Ha ha. I spotted this earlier. I’ve driven a car with molegrips for a steering wheel, but not on the public road.

I can't really see the problem? "Driver will be reported for too many offences to mention." lol

Many year ago i got 3 points condition of vehicle cu20...for driving without a steering wheel nut in position... I was 18 just fitted a dished mountney on my mini...and was out getting the position right on splines... Copper pulled me over for a stop check and spotted it straight away... He said if you had an accident you pulled steering wheel off... I got the points for being a smart rear canoe..as i said im more likely to push it on further in an accident and if i had an accident i dont think id be that concerned if the steering wheel came off as more than likely car wrecked anyway...

Saw it on Twitter earlier, the pictures showed space-saver wheels front and rear, and only two nuts holding each one on...

Reminds me of the chat I had with my MOT tester
If you don't have a seat present, you can't be failed for not having a seatbelt
So people can go there with no drivers seat in place nor a seatbelt, get their MOT then get the seat out the boot, bolt it in and drive home
