After seeing the hassle another member has had with a garage, I think this is a good idea. If everyone adds in good garages in their local area, it may help others out, I found my local place on a similar thread on Nutz back in the day. South Coast
Skuzzle Motorsport, Winchester- www.skuzzle.comNick is the go to man for all your F/I madness and because race car needs. Maztech, Gosport - mazz-tec.co.ukHave been taking my cars to Andy ever since I got my first MX5, knows them inside out. Obviously Mighty5s has no affiliation with any of the garages posted in this thread, and you take advice given at face value.

Steve Beattie is a superstar shout for me Stewie.
In Hemel Hempsteadish - Japex - these guys love Japanese and even more so if if's got a turbo on it! Honest as the day is long, proper quality parts, quick turn around, amenable pricing - what more could you want (I wish I'd got dropped there and done train hell home!)

Although it's not an MX-5 specific garage, I'd highly recommend This is Your Garage. Located at Culham in S. Oxfordshire. It's a self service garage/workshop with 4x 2-post and 2x 4 post lifts, and pretty much any tool you need. Rates are reasonable, with really helpful staff. I've used them a lot for working on my Mk3, and various mates cars. It helps me that they're less than 1/2 mile from where I work too!

I'd recommend Roadspeed based in Eccleshall, Staff's. Chris and Tony really looked after my L reg Eunos. I now have a fresh MOT (it's been SORN for 2 plus years) with no advisors. Good service, very reasonable rates, a lift to collect and friendly chat from fellow Mazda owners. What more could you ask for? Thanks guys.

Not sure if they are near enough to you but I went to Sopley Garage today, for the 1st time, and they were very good.

Thanks Ian,
I’m actually based in Ireland but have a mate in Bournemouth who might pick up an MX5 on my behalf and facilitate storage until I can get over to collect. There are a few panels that might need replaced and a wide band sensor as well as a few chassis upgrades.
Thanks again and if anybody knows of an experienced all rounder and trustworthy garage please keep the recommendation coming.
Cheers,
Liam.

If you've got to get it to Ireland, you could go via the MX5 place in Penarth in Wales - did a good job on my suspension for a very reasonable price.

Yes I'd recommend TotalMX5 in Barry S.Wales. I'm off there on 21st to get mine sorted.

Cheers Guys,
It’s going to end up sitting in Bournemouth for several weeks until I can get over and drive it back 😎 that’s presuming I can seal the deal this week.
Appreciate the Wales tip, might be an option?
Thanks,
Liam.
