Today is 3 years since a friend was killed in a Motorcycle accident. He was unfortunately riding a bit silly and paid the ultimate price.
We're all guilty of driving silly sometimes, and I certainly haven't been a saint. Since then, I've certainly thought before pushing the pedal down hard.
There but for the grace of God and all that.
Some of you may have known Lewis, he did at one point have a lovely MK2 MX5, which is how I ended up meeting him.

Sorry to hear that.
I stopped riding after doing an impression of Superman over a car bonnet - had it been a van that pulled out in front of me instead of a car I doubt I'd be here now.

It's a sad fact of life that probably everyone know someone who's had a serious/fatal motorcycle accident.
A few close friends got into 125s after school years ago - they were an absolute nightmare for falling off, or forgetting which way to look on roundabouts. Thankfully they gave them up after realising they were utter morons.

one of my best Friends got into the police and eventually onto the police bikes, he was absolutely terrible on a bike but somehow passed all the police tests, well a month later he was dead after a crash a 60mph all his fault because he panicked on a corner. makes you wonder about the quality of these tests police have.
