So the police decided no further investigation after less than 24hrs after it being reported stolen. So much for that statutory requirement to investigate fully. There’s been a spate of classic Mini thefts in London recently according to some specialists, as many as five this month. But the police clearly can’t be too bothered it seems. Much easier to dish out a crime reference number and let the insurance deal with it. Nothing ever changes.

Anyway, rant over! Insurance is going to take around 3 months. My heart breaks for the guy 😢

You can’t own anything nice these days. Fortunately he has access to another car so he’s mobile, but how do people get around when their only car is stolen?
