So my shell is showing it’s life of daily drives and winters past and requires some major surgery to de-rust... “no problem” I think... last time I looked, a rust free “smart enough” recent import was 2.5k... I’ll just put up the cash and swap the nice go fast stuff over!
Except I won’t, because every car I’ve seen is a total basket case of rust and botched repair jobs!
Are they all really this crap unless you cough up the “entry price” of £4k for a fresh import?!

theres still good examples around but remember their age so its a wiating game, also, if its just the body condition thats important then they are out there (somewhere) this time of year is the end of the sellers 'summer' market, if you want to buy cheap then maybe wait (or keep looking) untill January / febuary? I buy cars / vans / bikes in the winter & parts in the summer Rich.
