I picked up some oem side skirts for my mk2 recently but when collecting saw that to fit them requires some pretty significant holes in the sills, which doesn't fill me with joy...
Has anyone tried bonding them on with sikaflex? If so how did they fare?

Hey random,
Are they the large or short style ones?
If its the former, I have all the OEM fitting instructions / templates etc for where the mounting plates go from mine - and yeah, mine was 6x 8mm holes in the sills, and 2 8mm in the wings too.
Bloody scary!

They're the small ones but the fitting is similar I think. Would be interesting to see the instructions if you're able to share them  |
