Anyone used one on a MOMO type wheel. I've just fitted a 330mm Sabelt rim and being 6ft it obscures the top of the dials. I'm thinking an eccentric spacer ,( see demon tweaks), could help as would raise wheel up giving better view of clocks and creat more space below to my legs. Has anyone used one and if so does it feel different in anyway, ( I assume it doesn't but wanted to check ). Cheers, Ed

Cheers, Ed running a spacer I can understand, an eccentric spacer must be something for the morning of 1/4/19 from www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/momo-hub-eccentric-spacer-kit-momm12114111112/I can understand that when in a straight line the wheel to leg clearance will be increased BUT when turning the wheel the clearance will decrease seems silly to me personally, if it was for me, i'd look at lowering the seat or lifting the steering-column to increase leg-to-wheel clearance & cluster visability

I guess it only gets closer once wheel is turned more than 45 degrees? Therefore better most of the time.
Seat is as low as can get it and lifting column looks a faff, ( and potentially dangerous ? ).
To be honest I don't really need to see dash but would be nice if there was an easy solution..

Being able to see the dials is overrated LoL I think I can see 0-20 and the rest is guesswork! What I'd really like is a HeadUp Display - the DRE shift light is excellent for removing the need to look at the revcounter, but a HUD with speed would be useful!

Hard wired into a switch, works great. It's GPS and shows in MPH. I did it as my clocks are in KMH so it was a nice little addition. When my 5 is back on the road and i've wired it all back up i'll demonstrate with some pics in my build thread

I am loathe to add GPS anything to the car (Big Brother and all that ) but if it's just a receiver unit, all would seem fine!

The exact one I have I can't find anywhere - looks like it's been superseded. You can find loads here on the bay through, some suspiciously cheap.

Back to Eds original conundrum -I use a wheel with a deep dish which keeps it well clear of my legs, & a race seat helps too.
