Hi, I bought my first MX-5 last Autumn to use as a track day car. My first Japanese car in fact. She's a 2003 Mk2 (facelift) Sport and I'm delighted with her. She's not the quickest around the track but so much fun. One of the reasons that I went for an MX-5 is to be able to do my own repairs, for example, I've fitted a roll bar to her. I have also learned that I hate bolts.
As for me, I live in Berkshire and work in IT. I'd like to meet up with some other owners to compare MX-5 notes and socialize.
Cheers!

Welcome! Nothing wrong with being slower than everyone else, more time to enjoy the drive lol I am about to attempt some DIY myself shortly - I think I will share your hatred of bolts...

Thanks for the welcome I live in Bracknell and I'm from Wales so I think I'll fit in nicely! When are the meets? Wannabe - Absolutely. The 'Just been passed by a girl' sticker that I have on the back of my MX-5 seems to go down well too I have to say that if there is ever a nuclear apocalypse, the only things remaining on the planet will be cockroaches and MX-5 tie-down bolts.
