It’s the season opener for the Classic Marques Speed Championship this coming weekend at Gurston Down. Bot days are separate competitions so 4 runs/day.
Hopefully should do ok in class, it’ll be interesting to see if the chassis adjustments come to fruition.
The weather looks nice so come & have a look; if you’re wandering round the pits, come say hi, I’m number 59.

What a great weekend to be playing at hillclimbing: The track was dry & the Rainsports were doing their best for me. Nice to see apextwin bringing his future wife out for a picnic the day before getting married at Castle Combe. Saturday went well as I managed to go quicker on each run & the 2 timed runs I managed to properly scare myself experimenting with how much speed I could carry through Karusel. Couldn’t quite get on it Sunday & was a fraction slower, but still did ok out of the 24 CM guys.  |

Well done mate! Spectacular as ever exiting Ashes!! Cheers, didn’t quite make it into the 38s. Was pushing it through hollow, right on the edge... Pretty pleased with the time considering I wasn’t on list 1B tyres; in theory I should be 38.1 on R888Rs. Hope you had a great day Sunday. |

Great weekend and perfect conditions, lucky to have those in April. I thought I spotted Apextwin as I headed back down the hill  Congratulations and hope you enjoy the honeymoon this coming weekend!!! I have no idea how you get away with it... Same set of results for me in my class, very close all weekend. A win by 0.09s on Saturday and new class record at 39.58 (Roadgoing MX5 Class). Missed out on first by 0.03s on Sunday, so close all weekend which was great fun.  |
