Set of lovely cream Elise seats. Mounted on Mx5 rails, so good to go for mk1 and mk2. Some wear on driverside bolster see pic, passenger side, spot on. Good quality mounts. Collection only from Hingham, Norfolk. £350     |

P.S selling as typically stumbled across a black set, doh! If you are interested, I used leather paint to re-colour mine in dark grey it came up a treat. |

Good choice with the VX220 seats they had a lot more padding than the early mk1 Elise seats |

Do the Elise and VX220 seats lower you quite a lot, even on standard rails/sliders? Without knowing any specific measurements, I'd say yes. These Elise one's being lower than the VX220 one's, my partner couldn't see properly out of the windscreen when switching from standard to the elise seats. |

I'm 6', and got rid of my elise seats as they weren't low enough for me on the runners. I've gone back to foamectomised oems and find they hold me better. I'm very skinny. I always felt I was sitting on, rather than in, the Elise seats. Depends what shape you are I suppose.

I wasn't a huge fan of these Elise seats, the VX220 one's are so much better and from how you described you issues would have probably been perfect for you. I'm 6"1 and the VX220 one's feel just right to me height wise. On my readers ride thread, it shows the seats side by side. |

I'd say there is about and inch or two of padding, the elise seats basically feel like there is no padding, nothing more than a shell wrapped in leather! So maybe the VX220 seats are an inch higher when sitting in them. Big improvement over the stock seats in terms of support, I find they fit me well and the height drop is enough for my needs. Having that extra support behind your head is reassuring.
