I don't really want sleeper eyes as I'm a bit too old for that, but ive bought some a/m headlights that have integrated indicators in them and was wondering if anyone knows a way of lifting a headlight individually, maybe just an inch or so when the indicator is switched on to show the light?
Also, they have integrated sidelights, so I'd like to lift them with the sidelights and not just the headlights, I imagine this one wouldn't be too tricky?

I was thinking along the same lines, our colonial cousins have something that allows one to “wink” a headlamp, all you need to do is come up with circuitry that would wink and operate the flasher on the same side. Whatever floats your boat... www.mx5tech.co.uk/wink.aspx

IIRC the UK setup was the headlights popped up with the sidelights turned on - I'm not sure if they ran a 'dim-dipped' setup, like old Fords did, or if they had lamp units with separate sidelight bulbs built in. I am sure I read it's just as simple as changing a relay box thing to/from UK spec/JDM spec to add/remove the feature, but I may be wrong... In theory anything's possible if you can construct the circuitry to do what you want!

This is what I got from searching the net too, theres a relay that I can take out to stop it, so in theory theres a relay I can add to get them to do it. Mines an import so doesn't do this from factory.
I'm sure that with the wiring diagrams i'll work this out if I cant do it with a fuse.
Raising them a shorter distance is trickier though. I suppose there is no harm in having both the sidelight one and the angel eye one, and during the day the lights are down so the small one lights, and in the dark it lights double... but if theres a way of getting just one to raise then i'll find it somewhere.

Good luck! People doing something different is what creates cool new stuff
